A Twilight Travel Guide to Forks, Washington
By Air
If you fly into the SEATTLE-TACOMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SEA), you will have to rent a car to drive to Forks. It’s the best way to see the beauty of Washington State and you will drive right through Port Angeles and Forks.
On the other hand, if you want to save time, Kenmore Air offers a 2-for-1 fare special if you want to fly directly into Port Angeles (like Bella did). For more information, check out the Kenmore Air site.
Renting Your Car at SEA
The five major car rental companies are located right in the airport parking lot: Hertz, Budget, Avis, Alamo and National. Once you have your luggage, just follow the signs for RENTAL CARS. You don’t even have to take a shuttle bus! We recommend you bring or rent a GPS system–it will help you get across Puget Sound and onto Highway 101. But if you don’t want to do rent a GPS, it’s ok–the roadsigns are clear and you’ll be fine if you bring a map!
